Dance before the city wakes up!

Fancy starting your Thursday a little differently?

Join us at Frank Kitts Park for a feel-good, 40-minute morning silent dancing. Grab your headphones, tune into the music and dance your way into the day!

This is not a dance class. There are no steps to learn, no choreography to follow and absolutely no dance experience needed. Just great music, fresh morning air and a chance to move, smile and have a bit of fun before the working day begins.

We're a small, friendly group of Wellington locals who have discovered that dancing first thing in the morning is a rather brilliant way to wake up. We're looking to welcome a few more people into our little Thursday morning crew.

✨ What to expect

🎧 A silent disco with music through your headphones
💃 40 minutes of dancing and moving however you like
🌅 A refreshing start to your Thursday
😊 A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
👋 A chance to meet some lovely local people
🙌 No partner, dance skills or fitness level required

📍 Where: Frank Kitts Park, Wellington
⏰ When: Thursday mornings, 6:45–7:25am
💰 Cost: $10 per person

Come on your own or bring a friend. You don't need to know anyone, and you certainly don't need to be a dancer!

Whether you want a little morning energy, a reason to get outside, or simply something different to look forward to each week, we'd love you to join us.

Come once, see what you think, and discover your new favourite way to start the day.

Reserve your headset in advance to join us 💃🕺🎶 😊
