Join us at Frank Kitts Park for a feel-good, 40-minute morning silent dancing. Grab your headphones, tune into the music and dance your way into the day!
This is not a dance class. There are no steps to learn, no choreography to follow and absolutely no dance experience needed. Just great music, fresh morning air and a chance to move, smile and have a bit of fun before the working day begins.
We're a small, friendly group of Wellington locals who have discovered that dancing first thing in the morning is a rather brilliant way to wake up. We're looking to welcome a few more people into our little Thursday morning crew.

FAQs
- Do I need to know how to dance?
Not at all! This isn't a dance class and there are no steps or choreography to learn. Just put on your headphones and move however you feel like moving. 💃🕺
- Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself and some comfortable clothes and shoes, a drink for hydration if you want to. Your silent disco headphones will be provided. 🎶
- Where exactly do we meet?
We meet at Frank Kitts Park just above the car park by 6.45am.
- What happens if it rains?
We aim to go ahead all weather, dress for comfort.
As we're dancing outdoors, occasionally Wellington weather may have other plans! We aim not to cancel and may even move location for cover but if we need to move location or cancel a session due to unsafe or very unsuitable weather, we'll email everyone who has booked as soon as possible (by 8pm the night before) and provide information about refunds.
If in doubt, check your email 8pm on the Wednesday night.
- I've never been to a silent disco before. Is that okay?
Absolutely! Most people are new to it. Come along, put your headphones on and have some fun. 😊
- Can I come on my own?
Yes! You definitely don't need to know anyone. It's a small, friendly group and you're very welcome to come along on your own.
- What if I book but can't make it?
Just request a refund on humantix. Refunds issues up to the day before the event.
