Mzuri Dance ArtisTree presents We Are Colourful - Dances of Culture, Connection, and Belonging.
Join us for a vibrant celebration of traditional and contemporary African and African Australian dance, music, and togetherness as we mark our 28th year. Whether you're a longtime supporter or new to Mzuri Dance ArtisTree, you're invited to experience the magic we've created together.
Event Highlights:
- Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
- Showcasing of We Are Colourful performance by Mzuri Young People
- Special Guest performance by Ajak Kwai and her trio band
- Interactive performance with N.A.G. Dancers
- Live bands and Cultural Dancing workshops
- East African food delights and Recipe Book Launch
- Presentations including truth telling of Takanya
- Promotion of some African-led enterprises

3:00 PM - Welcome and Smoking Ceremony (Oratory courtyard, weather permitting)
4:00 PM - We Are Colourful Performance (Seated venue - Oratory studio)
5:00 PM - Dance to Live Music with King Bell and Soukous Ba Congo, Mpaphi Nfandizo and Afrovival
6:00 PM - Close of Event
