'We Care - Cally Camp Out'

FAMILY FRIENDLY FREE EVENT

Callington Oval - Friday 21st June 2024 until Saturday 22nd June 10am

Proudly presented by Australian Portable Camps to raise funds for homelessness and families in need! 

Come along, bring your mates, bring your swag/camper, and a chair and enjoy the free festivities! 

Wear your 'going out' flanney and share a yarn or two around the drum campfires!

• Lots of free activities and performances!
• Food and drinks avail - get yourself a wrist band on arrival (at the Raffle Tent) - lots of free stuff for people who register and have a wrist band 
• Live music and fire performers, camp fire songs, mechanical bucking bull (for you rodeo folk) and a FIREWORKS DISPLAY 
• Lots of Raffles with some fantastic prizes! Please come prepared to dig deep and support the charities, and hopefully win some great prizes (thanks to Horizon Leisure, Hamilton Wines, Milwaukee, Bunnings, Berenberg and many more!!) 

Cash preferred but eftpos facilities avail at the bar (for drinks, merch, other items)

Lets show how much 'WE CARE' - get involved, help raise funds, volunteer on the night! 

SPECIAL NOTES: 

1. You do NOT need to camp out - but we encourage everyone who can/is willing - in support of homelessness and those doing it tough!
2. The Cally Club is a licensed venue - and money from drinks sold goes back into the club and club grounds - please buy your drinks on the night (no BYO)
3. No Glass on the oval (safety reasons)
4. No Tent Pegs or Swag pegs on the oval (due to irrigation) - Tents are permitted around the perimeter of the oval - we will guide you to the next avail location on your arrival 
5. ARRIVE as early as you can - from 2pm (for all people camping out) and DEPART by 11am Sat 22/6 (unless staying on to further enjoy the many local attractions)
6. KEEP YOUR AREA CLEAN AND TIDY - this is a community area and a community free event - please respect our community by cleaning up after yourselves
7. Callington Oval RV Park area - FREE for Friday 21/6/24 night only - for all other nights there is a $10 charge PER NIGHT for any vehicles using the RV area.  If you wish to arrive early for the event, please note that the daily charge will apply - payments to the Club room attendant on site (after 4pm each day)
8. Parking/locations - due to the wonderful support of the event, we ask that you consider how you position your RV in the RV Area should you arrive before 2pm Friday 21/6/24 - we have over 70 vans registered to attend - we need you all to park as closely as reasonably expected (within safe limits of course) and park perpendicular to the gravel road (not parallel as this will block other parties from reversing in).
9. Roof top campers, tents swags, small camper trailers, sleeping in/on vehicles - anyone camping out but NOT in a caravan or RV, can be located around the oval - our volunteers on the night will guide you to your location (next avail space) upon arrival at the oval.  Best to get in early - open from 2pm
