Travel instructions
Public Transport: Balam Balam Place is a 5-10 minute walk from public transport. Catch a tram to stop 21-Brunswick Town Hall/Sydney Road or a train to Jewell station. You can then walk to the venue
Entry instructions
You will meet between 10:15-10:30am at Balam Balam Place. The easiest way to arrive is via the South Building located just next to Home Economics Cafe and Blak Dot Gallery. Look for the Big Yellow Arrow!
After entry instructions
When you arrive at the South Building of at Balam Balam Place, you can enter the building on the ground floor. Go past the Home Economics Cafe and you will see the GO.1 Community Room to your right, where the event will be held.
Hazards
The event space is wheelchair accessible. The event and the room are on the ground floor and if the weather is okay, doors may open to the adjoining garden. The space is large and this can sometimes make it difficult to hear people speaking so microphones and speakers will be used at the event.
Toilet location
There are accessible bathrooms on the ground level of the South Building at Balam Balam Place.
Accessible parking
Parking on site is restricted and there is no community parking on site. There is easily accessible public all-day car parking to the south on Dawson Street, across the road from the Brunswick Baths. Visitors can also use the Woolworths car park on Phoenix Street for up to 90 minutes for free, with paid parking after that. Limited two-hour on-street parking is available nearby.

Social Script: Information about the event format
Event format: The event will include short talks from the invited artists, and a guided discussion amongst the group of people who attend the event. What to expect: When you enter the event space, you can hold onto any materials/objects you bring with you. You will then choose a seat. The event organisers will guide a discussion about the event theme of 'entangled materials' and creative processes. You will participate by listening. When invited, you can also choose to participate by sharing some of your experiences or stories, about the material/object you have brought with you. As a shared group discussion, there may not be time for you to speak about everything that you bring in depth. At the end of the event you can take your material/object home with you.
