Event description

Walk from the Unwin St, Earlwood (near Tempe Station) to Bexley North in the Wolli Creek Regional Park -5km

This walk is supported by the Canterbury-Bankstown Councils We Love Our Rivers program

Would you like to explore the full length (5km) of the Wolli Creek Valley Walking Track. On this walk volunteer members of the Wolli Creek Preservation Society will guide you from the start of the Wolli Creek track near Tempe Station to Bexley North via the Wolli Creek Valley Walking Track. They will share their knowledge of this bushland, its cultural and environmental history, as well as information about the current issues facing the Wolli Valley and the bush regeneration (Bushcare) work the Society is undertaking.

It includes the pre-historic Wave Rock, the historic Jackson Place cottages and an ascent of Nannygoat Hill (optional).

This is a medium-hard grade 5km walk with some sections of the trail covering uneven ground.

This walk is not suitable for children under 12 years of age and all young people up to 17 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Please email us at info@wollicreek.org.au if you have any questions. Details about where to meet, and further walk information will be provided the week before the walk.
