Event description

Second Chance Comedy Presents: “We’re All Doing Great” (And Other Lies)
A Fundraiser for Make Mental Health Matter

🕢 Doors at 6:30 PM | Show at 7:00 PM
📅 Friday, August 8th

Comedy that hits home - and gives back.

Join us for a powerful night of stand-up that blends humor, heart, and healing. This isn’t just a comedy show - it’s a fundraiser for Make Mental Health Matter, a nonprofit working to break the stigma around mental health and suicide through education and community action. 50% of all profits from the show go directly to Make Mental Health Matter.

The lineup features comedians who don’t shy away from the tough stuff - they dive into it, laugh about it, and invite you to do the same.

🎤 Featuring:

  • Von Sprecken (Headliner) - A nationally touring comic and mental health advocate

  • Christie Buchele (Feature) - Bold, brilliant, and hilarious

  • Aaron Fleck & Tara Check - Two unique voices bringing warmth, wit, and fearless honesty

  • Hosted by Joe Huisman - Founder of Second Chance Comedy, using stand-up to turn his story of addiction into something worth laughing about

Whether you’re in therapy, recovery, or just trying to keep your head above water, this show gets it.

Come laugh with us. Come heal with us.
Come support a cause that truly matters.
