The magnificent, many-headed singing beast that is the Spooky Men’s Chorale returns to Tasmania to carve out new territories of mighty sounds, exquisite tenderness, and charming stupidity. Festival favourites in Australia and the UK, they evoke musical worlds far beyond that suggested by their unassuming, casually hatted, black-clad appearance. They are just a bunch of blokes, but where they take you will blow your mind.
