Description

Come along and learn to weave with an artist from The Torch as part of We Sit in Circle.

Presented by The Torch in partnership with Queen Victoria Women’s Centre (QVWC), We Sit in Circle is about women’s strength, hope, and survival. The exhibition showcases powerful paintings and intricate weavings by First Peoples women with lived experience of incarceration. They are mothers, aunties, grandmothers, daughters, and sisters. Learn more about the exhibition here.

This workshop is open to all. Materials are provided.
