Event description

This event is for young people aged 12-25 years old to come together to celebrate Wear it Purple Day and have fun!

There will be fabulous entertainment, queer crafts, fun activities including photobooth, face painting, games and a sensory room for chill down time. All capped off with yummy food, prizes and give aways.

Come dressed in your favourite or fancy outfit and don't forget to wear something purple!

The City of Greater Geelong's Youth Development Unit have been facilitating the GASP program since 1996. In that time the program has grown to provide a wide portfolio of programs, initiatives and support for LGBTQIA+ Young People including;

Rainbow Events for young people
Secondary consult and referral services for Schools, Families and Professionals
Stand out groups in schools
Community of Practise for schools
Delivery of Inclusive Practise Training to Schools, Professionals and Community
The Rainbow Youth Advisory Group

As well as leading action research projects, developing resources and guides, and providing expert knowledge to a range of initiatives.
