WEARABLE ART FOR YOUTH

Ages: 12 - 20 years
Young artists and creatives are invited to bring their sketchbooks and photographs to participate in a free Wearable Art Workshop with Abbey Mitchell. During the workshop participants copy, cut and paste (copies only) of their own original artworks to create two high-quality heat transfers. These are then applied to wearable items. Participants can wear their creations home and out into the community to increase the awareness of their unique art and design interests and skills. All workshop materials supplied free of charge, including cotton bags, beanies, pencil cases, short-sleeve t-shirts and caps.
This workshop is in partnership with Clarence Valley Youth.
