I have been weaving for over 9 years. I have a background in Building Design, and have always been deeply interested in colour and texture. For me, weaving brings these two elements together in a tangible and intriguing way.

Weaving is a very old and universal human craft, and I love the connection to history as well as the practical outcome of a physical finished object.

I have started Happywattle in order to share my experience. I aim to convey my passion and what I find interesting about weaving, and why it might make a good addition to your crafting repertoire.
