Event description

Fleurieu Made presents Weave Your Waste - a textile recycling workshop


Bring along some old fabrics/ clothes/ towels etc and transform them into a beautiful woven creation! In this hands-on workshop, you will learn basic weaving techniques using recycled textiles. We will all contribute to the creation of a giant wall hangings while discovering the potential of materials often destined for landfill. 

This activity promotes creativity, develops fine motor skills and teaches the value of upcycling in a fun, engaging way.
