    Weaving Workshop Series with Aunty Bronwyn Razem

    Bronwyn is a Gunditjmara woman of the Kirrae Whurrong clan of Western Warrnambool and comes from a long lineage of Traditional weavers.  During the course you will be learning how to harvest and weave with indigenous and exotic plant fibres.  You will be involved in making something to take home as well as creating a group installation to be donated to a public space.

    The three sessions with Aunty Bronwyn (limited to 10 participants) will run every fortnight from 10-1.30 either in the local parklands or at the neighbourhood house (weather dependent).

    The fourth and final session, on June 5th, will involve inviting the wider community to teach your skills to, and having a community celebration. The exact time is TBC, but likely 2-4pm with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony (also TBC)

    5th June

    COST: $60 for all sessions. (Concession available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants)

    SPACES LIMITED Adults only (18+). Bookings essential.
