Welcome to the Weaving Stories of Boodja community art project. We are looking forward to seeing you at our event @EventName starting at 3:45pm Wednesday, 31st August 2022 in the Duggan Pavilion next to the primary school oval, near the basketball courts and BMX track.

Just some pre-event housekeeping messages for you.

Firstly, we have a waitlist for our events so if you or your children are feeling unwell or something has popped up please let us know so we can offer your ticket(s) to someone else.

Upon arrival please sign our paper Waiver and Consent form if it is the first time attending a workshop with us. The wording if you are interested is below.

Please be respectful of the Duggan Pavilion space. We are guests in the venue so please, no running indoors and no food/drink inside.

And finally, please bring a change of clothing or full apron as we are working with clay and your children could get messy.

Waiver and consent form

Weaving Stories of Boodja is a fun and interactive nature, culture and arts based program for families. All participating children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all workshops. Whilst this program aims to connect families and the community to country, and create a culture of curiosity. You are responsible for the safety of your children and the children in your care at all times.
I (name of parent) voluntarily agree to assume all risks in and incidental to participate in the Weaving Stories of Boodja project. I am responsible for the safety of the children in my care at all times. I release Weaving Stories of Boodja, it’s officers, assistants, employees, contractors, volunteers from all claims of damage, demands and expenses whether known or unknown.

There will be photos taken at this workshop for the purposes of social media, use in promotional material and a future exhibition. The photos taken will be of children and their families participating in the workshop and photos of their artwork.

Please Note: Weaving Stories of Boodja will retain the artwork created in workshops for display in a proposed future exhibition. It may be collected at the close of the project in 2023.
