Join Bettina Palmer at Forager’s Nest Art Space for this three-hour workshop and create a coiled basket, using various locally foraged plant fibres. Please note: Workshop materials are subject to what is readily available for us to forage, according to season.

This hands-on, beginner-friendly class is the perfect introduction to basket coiling, with no prior experience needed. Bettina will guide you through the weaving process step by step, as you learn a new skill.

At the end of the class, take home your completed coiled basket as well as the skills and knowledge to continue weaving at home!

Beginner-friendly.

What you'll get:
Materials, morning tea, and a completed coiled basket to keep.

Suitable for:
Adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.
