Weaving Workshop for Kids!

Join us this Easter School Holidays on Thursday 4th April at 10am at Sobah for an enriching experience in our Weaving Workshop for Kids, where they'll embark on a journey to learn the art of weaving a bangle from natural fibres.
Facilitated by Aunty Erica of Dreamtime Artistry, this workshop for ages 6-12 years offers not only a chance to acquire weaving skills but also provides insight into First Nations cultural learning through engaging yarning around the circle.
Amidst the creative endeavours, participants and their carers can enjoy a delightful breakfast and/or lunch served in the cafe.
As a special takeaway, each child will receive their own weaving kit to continue their creative exploration at home.
Children under 8 must be supervised by an adult who can relax in the art gallery while the weaving is undertaken.
$15 per child.
