Weaving Workshop
Description
Join us for a relaxed afternoon of weaving with proud Gamilaroi artist, weaver and cultural educator Emma Russell, on Wurundjeri Country.
Over two hours, Emma will guide participants through traditional weaving techniques, sharing her knowledge, stories and connection to Country along the way. Whether you’re new to weaving or have some experience, this workshop is an opportunity to slow down, learn something new and create alongside others.
Emma’s creative practice is inspired by her Aboriginal heritage, family, ancestors and connection to Country. Through weaving, painting, murals and cultural workshops, she brings together traditional cultural knowledge and contemporary artistic expression.
Come along for an afternoon of learning, creativity and connection!
