Event description

When: Wednesday 1 October 2025

Time: 10.00am to 12.00pm

Where: Art Central, 24 Church St, Moruya

Cost: $20 (includes materials)

Tutor: Ruby Berry

About: Come play with threads and learn to weave on a cardboard loom. This hands-on session is a fun and tactile way to explore colour, texture, and pattern as you create your own small woven artwork to take home.

Suitable for all ages.

Children to be accompanied by an adult.

Each person who wants to participate in the weaving activity must book a place. Parents or carers attending to support a child do not need to register unless they also wish to weave.

Tutor Bio: Ruby studied textiles and design arts at the ANU School of Art. Ruby makes sculptural textiles, creating work that explores ideas of protection, comfort and containment through sensory engagement.
