Weaving Workshop with By The Bila for the WorkLife Makers Market & Workshops

During this workshop you will have an introduction to the traditional practice of weaving and learn how to weave a small piece to take home. 

We will yarn about the significance of weaving in Aboriginal culture and the many different variations and uses of the practice over time.

This workshop will touch on connecting to Country and the importance of culture. 

Ages 10+ (all children must be accompanied by their adult and it is suggested that you make a decision on whether your smaller person has the patience and interest for this beautiful craft.
