Join master weavers from the remote community of Numbulwar in South East Arnhem Land for a hands-on weaving workshop. Learn techniques passed down through generations and about Maguj (pandanus) and Nanja (repurposed ghost nets) collected from our shores. Once a deadly threat to marine life, ghost nets are reclaimed by our artists and transformed into vessels of story and strength. As you weave, you're part of a living practice connecting people, place, and purpose. Sit with us, share stories, and take part in keeping these traditions strong.
