Women's Weaving Workshop

Please join Aunty Valda Murray and Aunty Glennys Briggs to learn traditional weaving skills. At this workshop you will learn about the revival of traditional crafts in a local context, whilst getting hands on experience in weaving techniques that have been shared for hundreds of generations.

Places are limited so book early to make sure you don't miss out!  Everyone is welcome - whether this is your first attempt at weaving or if you wish to refine your existing skills. Children also welcome. 

WHERE AND WHEN: 10am - 1:30pm, Friday 4th October, Mongans Bridge Caravan Park, 42 Bay Creek Ln, Mongans Bridge/ Coral Bank

•  Lunch and morning tea will be provided
• Physical Fitness level required: EASY ( Sitting/for a periods of 2 hours or more required)
  




WHAT TO BRING:


- Water bottle.


- Camp chair or picnic blanket to sit on

- Please wear comfortable clothing

- Weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen and a hat

- If you are unwell on the day please remain at home in consideration of the health of others

Due to our limited funding it is difficult to cater for every dietary requirement at our events. If you have special dietary requirements please bring your own food and drink.
