Web 3 What's In It for Me: Developer Edition
Event description
Bear Market, Schmare Market: bring on the BUILD Market!
Developers, been thinking about a change of course?
Wondering how your dev skillz might translate to the brave new world of this thing they're calling Web 3?
Curious? Skeptical? Bored? Hungry?
Come along to Web 3 What's In It for Me: Developer Edition and find:
- Friendly experts who've been on the Web 2 to Web 3 journey, who will satisfy your curiosity
- Smart, open-minded people who can roll with skepticism
- Good vibes and stimulating conversation to ease your boredom
- Food and drink to satisfy that hunger
Oh and have no fear: this event is neither by nor for "Crypto Bros" - I think they're all back in their box for now anyways 😂. This night will be all about:
- Understanding the Web 3Â opportunities for developers
- Learning what it might take to translate your skillz (honestly, not much :)
- Diving into some of the mindset changes you'll have to consider (no Kool-Aid will be served!)
Program
Doors open 5:30pm and we'll kick off the presentations at 6:00pm sharp.
We'll be hearing from:
- Digital Creators' Founder Ben Reid as well as Senior Software Engineer Rich Yuwono, who have been on the Web2=>Web3Â transition and lived to tell their stories.
- Head of Web 3 at Palo IT Alyse Sue, who is all-in on DAOs and about as "Web 3 Native" a developer as you'll find anywhere
- Ignatius Widjaja, Principal Engineer at Immutable, Australia's fastest growing tech unicorn now valued at $2.5B USD.
