Thea Stinear - CoolPlus CEO & teacher-turned-founder
Thea Stinear began her career as a secondary teacher, where two curious students sparked her lifelong passion for climate change and sustainability. That moment in the classroom set her on a path from teaching to becoming CEO of Cool.org, one of Australia’s leading online education charities, and later founder and CEO of CoolPlus, a social enterprise now scaling internationally. Over the past 16 years, Thea has worked alongside teachers, philanthropists and changemakers to create thousands of high-quality, curriculum-aligned resources that connect learning to real-world impact. She is driven by a simple belief: education is one of the most powerful levers for change, especially when teachers are trusted, supported and empowered to lead it.

Alex Wharton - award-winning educator, researcher and literary advocate
