Amanda Tan
Amanda is a primary educator with experience across all K–6 year levels. She has led a range of education projects at Cool.org from years 3-10, and is currently our Education Engagement and Project lead at CoolPlus. Amanda is inspired by relentless curiosity, those magic lightbulb moments in young learners, and the passion of teachers who show up every day determined to make a difference for their students and their futures.
Mahnee Cooke
Mahnee is a dedicated Secondary Science and Maths teacher whose obsession with shows like CSI as a kid led her to pursue a degree in Forensic Science before deciding to use these skills and enthusiasm for Science to engage students in the classroom. With experience teaching Science, Maths and VCE Chemistry to students in Years 7-12, Mahnee now uses her subject and curriculum knowledge as an Education Specialist with Cool.org, creating innovative educational resources centred on the three pillars of sustainability. Her work aims to embed engaging, real-world context into the classroom to promote a greater understanding of critical environmental and social issues. Mahnee is passionate about fostering a sustainable future as well as the benefits of scientific literacy and the role this plays in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
