The Influence and Decision-Making Action Hub of the National Council of Women|Te Kaunihera Wāhine o Aotearoa (NCWNZ) is inviting you to take part in a webinar on the topic of "How do we counter Misogyny?", which is a follow-up to last year's successful webinar.

The webinar will focus on online misogyny, as many women feel powerless when confronted with online misogynistic abuse and harassment. It will explore how we can counter online abuse both as individuals and as a society and community.

The event will take place on Friday 16 June at 12:00pm (noon) online. The Zoom details to log in will be sent out in the confirmation email after registration. It will be recorded and the link to the recording will be shared with the registrants after the webinar.

We will have the chance to host five incredible panelists, as well as our amazing moderator, Aimee Tang.

Louisa Wall, Ambassador for Gender Equity (Pacific), former MP, Silver Fern and Black Fern, former Co-Chair Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians who helped pass legislation to end child brides, outlaw all forms of genital mutilation, create safe areas around abortion facilities, criminalise image-based sexual abuse and allow for same-sex marriage.
