One brand, ten thousand assets

Producing a logo, a page or an advertisement now costs almost nothing, so far more of it gets made, by far more people, using tools trained on everybody else. Left alone, everything starts to look like everything. Four companies in one category end up with the same homepage, and the only question a buyer has left is what you charge.

This free 45 minute session is about the thing that actually keeps a brand recognisable, and it is not the logo. It is the system underneath: the named colours, the reusable pieces, the rules, and the people who own them. We walk through what a design system really is, in plain language, and why it now has a second audience you never used to design for.

The part most people miss

Your website has two readers, and only one of them has eyes. A person reads the design. A machine reads the structure underneath, and it is deciding what your business is and whether to recommend you. When your site says one thing, your listing says another and your profile says a third, a person shrugs and moves on. A machine does not. It quietly puts forward the business it is more sure about. Consistency stopped being about looking tidy. It became the thing that decides whether you are in the answer.
