How to Demonstrate your Social Enterprise Model

Whether you'd like to apply for SECNA Industry membership or People & Planet First Verification, this session will take you through how to strengthen and demonstrate your Social Enterprise business model based on the five global standards for social enterprises - purpose, operations, revenue, use of surplus and structure. 

We'll answer any questions you have, whether you're a sole trader, for-profit business or not-for-profit. Common questions we get include: 

• Do I need to provide governing documents if I'm a sole trader?

• How can I demonstrate reinvestment of surplus if we are only just covering our costs?

• Does my for-profit business have to give to charity on top of the good work we're doing?
