Event description

Achieving Vision Zero - that is no deaths and series injuries on our roads - is a key goal for many cities and governments. This webinar explores how the media ecosystem is changing, with a decline in consumption of traditional broadcast media, and how digital campaigns can play a key role in public education and engagement on road safety issues.

This webinar is hosted by Dr Julian O’Shea, an academic, transport expert and social media creator, who will share case studies and key findings about how to effectively design and deliver social educational social media campaigns.

This webinar will focus on the Australian context, with examples of global best practice. It will be recorded and made freely available on the 100 to Zero Project website (100tozero.org). This webinar is open to all, but is particularly targeted at those interested and involved in road safety, including policy, education, advocacy and design. The link will be sent out to registered participants one day in advance of the event.

This webinar and project is supported by the Australian Government as part of the National Road Safety Action Grants Program.
