The AASB has recently issued two new Exposure Draft accounting standards for consultation and comment. They potentially have a big impact on the ability of not-for-profits to adopt special purpose as opposed to general purpose financial statements. This would mean the application of normal accounting standards to more entities in the not-for-profit sector.

Please join accounting and not-for-profit sector specialists, David Gilchrist and Jeff Tulk to discuss what the proposed new standards might mean for the sector and key issues on which you may wish to comment. The discussion will be chaired by Seak-King Huang, founding partner of Milner + Huang and Director on the CLAANZ Board.

How much is CLAANZ membership?

We have kept membership fees at the same affordable rate over the last few years: $192.50 per annum, or $55 for concession (retirees and students). Please consider joining online to access webinars across the year for free, as well as a discounted Annual Conference ticket mid-year.

Are the webinars recorded?

Yes, we endeavour to record most webinars - subject to consent from presenters - and usually send the YouTube link out to registrants about a week or so afterwards.
