The Mindful Workout is a yoga class to help you get out of your head and into the body.

8 week term - Wednesday 9:30am-10:30am:  8 Feb 2023 to 29 Mar 2023 Studio and Online option  - go full studio, full online or a combination of both. We provide a flexible model that gives you the confidence to commit to the term. 

Prerequisites: To book for this course, ANY of the following criteria must be met. This ensures our new and regular term students receive the best experience possible. 

  • Past or present student of The Yoga Shed with knowledge of our version of Sun Salutes & nadi shodhana
  • Completed the Jan 2023 New Student course
  • Completed Private 1 hr New Student Pre-Term assessment


Predominantly asana, this class features yoga postures and sequences to help you build strength and flexibility - mindfully. Strong body, strong mind.

  • you're into body acceptance
  • you believe in starting where you're at
  • you take a health focussed rather than image focussed approach to physical fitness

  • you enjoy the idea of building strength and flexibility in a peaceful environment with serene music & mountain views 

then this may be the perfect class for you! 

While this class is predominantly focussed on the physical practices of yoga, we also balance it with stretching and pranayama (breathing practices)

So let's get moving in a calm, supportive and peaceful environment. Workouts don't have to be all about sweat and grind. That style isn't suited to everybody...

The Mindful Workout is for those who want to build strength and flexibility mindfully.

Studio & Online Flexibility!
This is a flexible model that provides a sustainable option for our students and our studio. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or transfers for our term classes. If you are a studio student who can't get here due to covid related illness, you have the option of practicing at home via zoom. If you prefer to do all of the classes at home - that's fine too, this can be a 100% online option if you want it to be. You can also mix and match studio and online options according to your needs. Please note also, that term models like this one are offered at a cheaper rate per class than casual classes as a reward for your stronger commitment to classes. This is yet another incentive to make a term commitment. Your commitment to a term also helps us to provide a stronger guarantee to you that we can provide minimum numbers in the room for the motivational and inspirational benefits of group energy
