TAFE NSW is an award-winning floristry course training provider. Depending on the floristry course that you choose, you'll learn the skills needed to start your career as a floristry assistant, all the way up to learning how to run your own floristry business. We also offer specialised floristry courses that will help you to hone your skills in a particular specialisation.

You'll spend your days working with a variety of flowers and learn to create beautiful arrangements to accompany the most memorable moments in life. Learn in-demand skills in business marketing and a comprehensive knowledge of seasonal varieties. Learn to work safely within a floristry environment including caring for floristry stock and keeping stock fresh for as long as possible. Study as a trainee and learn on-the-job, or practice your skills in our industry-standard facilities.

Depending on your campus location, you may have the opportunity to participate in excursions that take you behind the scenes in the floristry industry. These could include trips to the Sydney Flower Market where you'll experience the wholesale trade of flowers, or to flower farms to hear about the range of farm processes used to grow specific varieties of flowers.

Work in a diverse range of floristry industry businesses including retail floristry shops, studios and online floristry businesses.
