MAKE MEMORIES THAT LAST AS LONG AS LANYON.

Are you interested in holding a wedding or other special event, small or large, at our beautiful rural location of Lanyon Homestead?

With sweeping views overlooking the Brindabella Ranges and Namadgi National Park and an abundance of flora and fauna, Lanyon Homestead is just 15 minutes from Tuggeranong and 30 minutes from Civic.

A place of history, landscape and of many generations, Lanyon is the perfect Canberra setting for weddings, birthdays and special celebrations. Our garden rooms can accommodate weddings, family reunions, picnics and more. Our Education Centre and Murrumbidgee Marquee are a perfect all weather venue, with catering provided by The Barracks cafe.

Our free familiarisation tour allows you to discover the beauty, charm and possibilities of this stunning venue, with no commitment to book.

If you are looking for rustic chic, pastoral grandeur and a unique experience that only nature can provide, then Lanyon Homestead is the perfect choice.

Your experienced Venue Hire Coordinator or event host will take you on a tour of the various lawns and venue spaces, and answer any questions you may have.

For queries on available dates prior to booking your tour, or for weekday familiarisation tour bookings, please contact the Homestead on: lanyon.homestead@act.gov.au or 02-6237-6500. Saturday tours run for no more than 1 hour and bookings are essential.
