Description

With over 10 years of teaching experience Jana brings her favorite yoga practices to share with the Warrandyte community. These offerings stem from Traditional yoga practices, philosophy and mythology and East Asian Medicine’s wisdom and philosophy.

Hatha.

This is a traditional way to practice Yoga by incorporating The Eight Limbs of Yoga

These classes combined Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Meditation, focus on Chakras and Yogic Mythology and philosophy/Also including an integration of East Asian Medicine and how we apply the rich wisdom of healing to our bodies, in practice and therapeutic offering off the mat. One of my biggest influences and inspirations is how we align and live by the seasons, when we look at our surroundings as a teacher and guide we can find we can live a more balanced life.

These practices will create strength and flexibility, release tension, cultivate inner awareness, and embody a practice that extends beyond the mat — into daily life with clarity and purpose.

Suitable for all levels.

To Support the deep integration of this practice the class finishes with a guided Yoga Nidra. Grounding you into your body, to provide relaxation and restoration.

In this 75-minute class Jana brings her favorite ways to practice in class with the purposeful practice of Hatha, and finishing with the softness and restoration in Yin postures. Concluding the class with Yoga Nidra. This class is designed to build Qi and move Qi, activate and release the body and mind, while bringing some educational and therapeutic offerings, for her students to take home and bring the practices to light and everyday living.
