Event description

Join experienced instructors and Coal Loader staff each week for a series of wellness sessions.

  • This Week's Class: Qi Gong/ Tai Chi
  • Instructor: Amy Li 

What time to arrive: Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to have your name ticked off the list and hear the briefing. 
Classes run from 7:30am to 8:15am. Four your safety and to avoid disruption to your fellow participants, those arriving after 7:30am may not be able to participate.

Classes usually sell out so please only book if you can make it. No-shows prevent others from participating.

What to bring: Please BYO a yoga/Pilates mat (these are not provided), reusable water bottle etc. No need to print a ticket, you will be digitally checked-in on the day. A mat is not required for Tai Chi

What will we be doing: Disciplines vary each week and include yoga, strength training, Tai Chi, Pilates, meditation and mindfulness. The name of the discipline you have booked in for this week is in the event title. The classes are free to all local residents and are suitable for all levels of experience, from absolute beginners up, and the instructors will cater for various intensity levels.

In wet weather: In the case of showers we will move the class under the ramp on The Platform or into one of the meeting rooms on the top level.                                                                                                                      

Bookings: Bookings essential via The Coal Loader Humanitix only. Bookings become available at 9am, one week in advance for the next class.

PLEASE NOTE: As spaces are tightly limited please only book a space if you know you can attend. If you later find out that you are unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your ticket ASAP to enable someone else to attend.

No-shows, who have not cancelled in advance of the class (with the exception of medical emergencies) may be prevented from booking future classes.
