What You’ll Learn & Create
This immersive 4-week workshop guides you through the Indirect Reverse on Brown Paper mosaic technique, ideal for flat-surface projects like steppingstones, tabletops, and garden pavers.
Design a mosaic image maximum size 40cm x 40cm (perfect garden paver size) with attention to flow (andamento), symmetry, and colour harmony. (Some design templates will be available if you don’t want to design your own)
Transfer your design in reverse onto brown paper, preparing it for indirect installation.
Choose suitable materials for interior or exterior application, considering durability and aesthetics.
Cut and shape tesserae using a variety of mosaic tools and techniques.
Flip the brown paper design and install it onto your final substrate (you will need to supply)
Grout and finish your mosaic.
Take home your completed project—a beautiful, display-worthy piece.
Celebrate your creativity and how awesome you are for mastering a new skill!
