Round up your mates, WeedSmart Week 2026 is heading to Griffith, NSW!
Join us for a fun week of peer-to-peer learning about sustainable weed management and herbicide stewardship. You'll hear from farmers, agronomists and industry professionals and get to see how local growers are implementing the Big 6.
The event will include a machinery expo, farm tours, forum day, plus plenty of food and fun!

Event Schedule
- 8:45 am - 6:00 pm
Day 1, August 18th - Forum Day
Doors open at 8am. Arrive early and enjoy a complimentary coffee and a chat! Program commences 8:45am. Formalities conclude 5pm. Sundowner to follow 5-6pm. Join us at the Griffith Regional Theatre for a jam-packed day of weedy conversations. We’ll hear from innovative farmers and agronomists as they share their strategies for dealing with weeds and preventing herbicide resistance. Representatives from leading agricultural companies will also be present to answer all of your burning questions. Lunch and snacks included.
- 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Day 2, August 19th - Farm Tours & Machinery Expo
Buses depart 7:30am and leave last stop at 5pm. Jump on the bus with the WeedSmart crew as we check out a few local farms to see the Big 6 in action. Have a yarn with local growers and see what strategies are working for their own weed control. After lunch we head to the machinery expo to see how you can tweak your Big 6 through new and proven technology. Have a hands-on look at all the latest gear and hear directly from local growers using the equipment on display. Reps from each machinery supply company will also be ready to answer any questions. Lunch and snacks included.

Day 3, August 20th - Optional Study Tour Day (incurs extra cost)
Join one of two groups for the optional Day 3 Study Tour: Dryland Farming Systems Tour (7:30am -5pm) or Innovation in Irrigated Weed Management Tour (7:30am - 12pm) *Please note, Day 3 tours are bus only!* Chat with local growers and agronomists, and gain ideas for your own farm or business. Lunch and snacks included. Please note, attendance at Day 3 is optional and incurs an additional cost. Please select which group you wish to join on the ticket ordering page.
