🚗 Weekend in Orange with Friends (Respite) 🍊

Join Bodie and a few other like-minded people for a neurodivergent-friendly weekend in Orange, NSW.

Leaving Katoomba Saturday morning and returning Sunday evening Bodie will drive us to Orange stopping at Kelso Fruit Market on the way there for some fresh and nutritious snacks. We will then stop in Bathurst for a look around before finishing our journey to Orange. We will be staying at the Mercure, each person has their own double room with breakfast included at the hotel on Sunday morning. Sunday will be spent in and around Orange before we return to Katoomba.

Saturday and Sunday will include some low-stress activities such as sightseeing, op shopping and photo opportunities. You are welcome to eat solo if you need the time to yourself or we can arrange meals as a group.

Bodie will send out an itinerary and packing list two weeks before the event.

What is included:

Car transport from Katoomba to Orange and back, hotel room, all meals and Bodie supporting the weekend trip. You will need to purchase your own gifts, souvenirs or general purchases.

💜 NDIS friendly event - we can charge the total amount to your NDIS plan - select the NDIS ticket at checkout for us to charge your plan manager 💚

Event Cost: $800. It is important to note, that though the Humanitix price says free, we will generate an invoice to send to your Plan Manager at the rate of $800.

Heaps Autistic organise neurodivergent-friendly social outings that are planned to minimise stress while providing meaningful connections with other local folk. These outings can be an opportunity to manage money, make friends and have fun. Don't forget earplugs as it can be a bit loud.

Cancellations are not permitted as we have very limited spaces available and short-notice replacements are very difficult for this type of event.
