Step into a living soundscape of Afro-Brazilian experimental soul, MPB, samba, and bossa nova, reimagined through the lens of contemporary groove.

Led by Maitê Inaê, Brazilian-Australian singer and composer, the band brings together the richness of Brazilian tradition with the creativity and contemporary spirit of this collective, performing both originals and carefully selected classics.

For this event, Maitê Inaê is joined by some of Sydney’s top musicians including Casey Golden (keys), Chino (bass), Deva Permana (drums), and Carlos Mora (congas) forming a dynamic, ever-evolving ensemble.

Each show is a journey between heritage and innovation, carrying the pulse of Brazil into new lands and inviting audiences to feel its essence in a fresh, immersive way.

Projeto Cria do Samba has samba as its essence and through it, they promote Brazilian music and culture with lots of joy and love.

For us at Projeto Cria do Samba, Samba has always been, and will always remain, the protagonist of its own history, representing its people in a positive way as the main attraction.

Its ancestry, foundation, and philosophy must be respected and celebrated to the fullest, occupying all possible spaces as sacred ground for our joy.

·       Food and beverages will be provided by the amazing team at Time & Tide with their regular food and drinks menu. Please note that there won't be any food stalls at this event. 

·       We're presently finalizing options for activities for children at the event. More information will be provided on this shortly.

·       All attendees are required to be in possession of a current, valid photo ID.

Minors

·       Guests under the age of 18 may only attend the event if accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

·       No tickets required for children and kids under 12.

·       It is strictly forbidden to bring alcoholic beverages, drugs or any illicit substances to the Event.

·       The event producers are not responsible for any tickets purchased from companies and/or people that are not official sales channels and promoters of the event.

·       The venue reserves the right to ask guests to leave if they are in breach of these conditions or any of the conditions of entry specific to Time & Tide Hotel.

·       Remembering that at our events there are photos and audio visual recordings that are made solely and exclusively to promote our work by feeding our social networks.
