9am sharp: Tree Smoking Ceremony & Yahbatjee with Gunnai Elder Uncle Wayne Thorpe

Uncle Wayne created Yahtbatjee - Circling Energy. He is a Cultural educator and respected Elder. He was inspired by the Gunnai Ancestors and practitioners of Qi Gong to form Yahtbatjee as a self-healing modality to release trapped energy from our body, with breathing exercises suitable for all people. Within the healing power of Mother Earth and the Universal Family we discover the true energies that lay within us to practice this daily self-healing modality. This is an opportunity to step into a Cultural space and learn to connect with the self and the environment we live in. Join Uncle Wayne for this special morning practice and Cultural teaching of Yahtbatjee - Circling Energy.

11am Yidaki meditation with Gunditjmara Kirrae Wurrung-Bundjalung Man, Lionel Lauch

Lionel Lauch is a Gunditjmara Kirrae Wurrung-Bundjalung man, residing on Boon Wurrung Country on the Mornington Peninsula. The Peninsula has been home to Lionel since he was 6 years old, here he was drawn to exploring the land and natural environment developing a deep connection and understanding of Country. Lionel now runs a cultural engagement business and has a high demand for his yidaki-led healing mediation sessions. The yidaki produces deep rhythmic sounds, which Lionel uses specifically for healing practices. Senses are heightened and this allows for deep listening as the vibrations flow over and through your body, connecting you to the earth and creating a space for powerful healing to take place."
