Welcome Te Rā, the day, with a dawn experience at Orokonui.
Immersed in the dawn chorus and the changing ambience of the forest, these tours will focus on relationships between sound, light, and wildlife in the valley.
The tour will conclude at the visitor centre, with a complimentary hot drink and your choice of choice of savoury scone or muffin (gf/df).
Due to the nature of these tours there are few spots available, so make sure you get in quick to get your place. These tours have a 12 year minimum age for participants.
The tour will involve walking over variable terrain for the duration of the tour, so a reasonable level of mobility is recommended.
