Mother’s Day happens every year - for Melissa it’s one of the happiest times when her family gathers to also celebrate her birthday. She’d love to share the experience with you as she launches her new design book, Natural Living By Design.

For luxury, inspiration and a sprinkling of magic, Melissa’s Mother’s Day Book Launch will be hard to beat. Held in Totti Bondi’s private room, the intimate lunch has been created around the transformative ideas in Melissa’s new design book - that slight shifts and small changes can add up, and what a powerful force design can be in boosting our health, happiness and well-being. The lunch will kick off with drinks and hors d'oeuvres of wood fired bread, prosciutto, olives, and burrata, and a welcome by Melissa’s daughter, Isabella Walker-Smith, contributor at House & Garden.  

Followed with an obscenely lovely Italian lunch in a room decorated in warm, earthy hues and natural materials that will transport you to a Sicilian villa with masses of herbs festooning the table. Delicious Prosecco, and rose wines will be on tap. Feast on a plethora of mains from lobster and crab vodka pasta and pappardelle lamb ragu, wood-fired fish, smoked chickens and salads of all kinds.  Enjoy desserts are Tiramisu and Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches. Plus a talk by Melissa – where you will learn about the new luxury for our homes, and why every small choice we make can have a positive impact on our lives, influencing our health and happiness. ABOUT THE DAY

A warm welcome – Guests will be greeted with a glass of Totti’s signature Riot Sprtiz  or Prosecco and delicious canapés, setting the scene for a fun and relaxed experience in a room decorated by Amanda Talbat of Studio Snoop, who has also decorated an extraordinary, never-before-seen house in Palm Beach, Australia that features in Melissa’s new book. 

Melissa’s daughter Isabella will welcome guests and share her favourite tips of how to create an interior that shines. Expect plenty of laughs, good conversation, and decorating magic as well as a very special lucky door price for each lunch, from Holmon Home. 

Feasting together – Guests will enjoy a beautiful Italian feast created by Merrivale accompanied by Italian Allegra Pinot Grigio - Friuli, Baglio di Grisi Grillo, Sicily, and Domaine Vergajolo ‘Île de Beauté’ Rosé, Corsica, Maxi Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley, and Felix Shiraz, Barossa Valley. Plus premiums beers for the fellas joining the fun and all kinds of lovely soft drinks
