Event description
Come and experience a Welcome to Country and traditional Narungga stories with Narungga Elder Lynette Newchurch and Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park Rangers at the Gulawulgawi Ngunda Nhagu - Cape Spencer Lookout.
Please note there is strictly no video or sound recording allowed during the event.

Everyone - Please note that children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
Location and access
Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park - Gulawulgawi Ngunda Nhagu - Cape Spencer Lookout
The lookout and carpark is accessed from Pondalowie Bay Road and is located 2.5 km west of the park visitor centre. The trail to the lookout is a class 2 trail with a hard packed surface. The closest toilets are at the park visitor centre.
What to Bring:
- Enclosed shoes
- Sun protection
- Insect repellent
- Fly net
- Drinking water (1 litre minimum)

- Strictly no video or sound recording allowed during the event.
- Vehicle entry to the park is free for registered attendees of Park of the Month events.
- NPWS aims to provide inclusive events and activities for all, however some of our events do have specific requirements for participants. - This event will be cancelled in the event of severe/wet weather or Extreme/Catastrophic Fire Danger in the Yorke Peninsula Fire Ban District.
