    Event description

What better way to welcome in summer than to enjoy music in the hospitable surrounds of the quirkiest pub in Central Victoria - yes, the good folks at the Commercial Hotel Kingston have opened their hearts and their venue to us, to bring music, laughter, dancing and joy to the start of the season.  Profits will go to help CresFest Inc to build music in our community.  A light supper included in your ticket price - or come early for dinner (bookings essential).  Wander Trace's gardens, check out the displays celebrating Kingston's heritage and make sure to enjoy a slow drive or walk down the magnificent Kingston Avenue Of Honour. Raffles, merch and CresFest tickets on sale on the night also.

    Featured musicians:

Davidson Brothers - one of Australia's most respected and awarded bluegrass outfits, the Davidsons have been wowing crowds with their prowess and heartfelt song writing since their teens. Now living in central Victoria, they come to the Commercial for the first time with a powerhouse band.

Amie Brulee - darling of the Ballarat and local scenes, Amie is a true polymath - whether she's talking wine, speaking and singing in French, playing double bass, or teaching ukelele, Amie brings her warmth and charm to the show. Tonight she'll be channelling Leonard Cohen and you won't be able to resist joining in.

The Darlings Family Trust - Marcus and Gabrielle hail from Gordon - great local talent returning to the district, after making an impact at Folkie Friday - lovely harmonies, sensitive lyrics, you'll love this duo.
