Welcoming Australia Introductory Active Inclusion and Upstander Workshop

Welcoming Cities and Welcoming Universities invites Council and University Staff, Community Leaders, Community Members and interested folk to join us for an introduction to the concepts of active inclusion, and upstander training to build more connection and cohesion in communities.

Our workshop will cover:

• Inclusive practices that engage diverse and multicultural communities

• Exploration of how we build belonging in our communities

• Upstander training used to prevent and address discrimination and racism

Participants will be empowered with a deeper understanding of their personal experiences so they can positively impact how others experience inclusion and belonging in their communities.
