Event description

This tour 2 (Part 2) is one of the 4 welcoming tours organised by Shama for people who want to explore more about Hamilton's public, cultural and natural spaces and community services in Hamilton. It is also a chance for newcomers to connect with the Community and build lifelong friendships. "Let's Feel at Home, Settle in, and Embrace the Heartbeat of Our City".

Agenda for Tour 2

Friday 5 July: Welcoming Tour to NGOs

10 am – 10:15 am: Walking from Shama to Red Cross (31 Harwood Street)

10:15 am – 11:00 am: conversation with Red Cross, Diverse Counselling, Earth Diverse and Tani

11:00 am – 11:15 am: Moving with cars from Red Cross to ROC (63 Kent Street)

11:15 am – 11:50 am: Conversation with ROC and Live Better 

11:50 am – 12:00 pm: moving with cars to Settlement Centre  (46G Boundary Road)               

12:00 -12:30 pm: Conversation with Settlement Centre

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Picnic in the park

Transport provided by Shama vehicles and staff vehicle.
