Welcoming tours (Tour 1 to the city public spaces and facilities)

This tour 1 (Part 1) is one of the four welcoming tours organised by Shama for people who want to explore more about Hamilton's public, cultural and natural spaces and community services in Hamilton (the schedule of 4 tours is below). It is also a chance for newcomers to connect with the Community and build lifelong friendships. "Let's Feel at Home, Settle in, and Embrace the Heartbeat of Our City"

Agenda for Tour 1:

Tour 1 (Friday, 3 May 2024) : Public services/agencies

10 am – 10:20 am: Meeting, Parking at Shama and Walking from Shama to Hamilton City Council

10:20 am – 11:00 am: Meeting with HCC people to hear about their services, facilities and policies (Libraries, Museums, Parks, Recreation, Water world, Animals and Pets, etc.).

11:00 am – 11:50: Moving to the City library, hearing the library services, and making library cards.

12:00 am – 12:40 pm: Visiting the museum and meeting the Museum staff

12:40 pm – 13:40 pm: Picnic lunch at the riverside park next to the Museum and connect even more !!!!
