The training includes foundation level skin analysis and skin conditions, anatomy and physiology in relation to skin and face, and Weleda’s treatment consultation and facial sequence. The course also provides an understanding of Weleda’s natural and organic cosmetics and working with the products adds an invaluable additional layer of training for the Esthetician. If no previous experience in anatomy and physiology of the skin, you may benefit from attending an independent module before accessing the Level 4 Certificate for Holistic Estheticians.

How is the course organised?

The course is made up of four modules or units, involving a blend of both online and onsite learning. Please note: two of these units will require in-person attendance at the Weleda Head Office – Accredited Learner Centre.

Unit 1 – online foundation module comprises:

One-day online session Meeting the Boundary foundation module on Friday 25th September

Six-hour online home study, completed in your own time, prior to attending Unit 2.

Unit 2 - Three days of practical-based onsite training at Weleda: 5th – 7th October at Weleda UK Head Office - Accredited Learner Centre

Unit 3 - Home study period: learning and completing treatments on volunteers plus two 1hr (approx.) online theory sessions: 14th October 18:30 and 21st October 10:00

Unit 4 - Three further days of onsite practical-based training at Weleda UK Head Office including practical assessment: 9th – 11th November at Weleda UK’s Accredited Leaner Centre.

Final Accreditation is awarded on completion and assessment of individuals portfolio of evidence. Portfolio submission due 2 weeks after completing Unit 4.
