Well Crafted at IAC with Graham Sharp & Seth Kaufman

Well-Crafted at IAC is a five-part intimate music series presented by the Iredell Arts Council and curated by Asheville pedal steel guitarist Matthew Smith.

Set inside Statesville’s historic Old Jail, the series brings exceptional musicians together for evenings that blend live performance, storytelling, and conversation. Each installment highlights the creative relationships Matthew has built through more than two decades of touring, recording, and making music.

This installment features Graham Sharp of Steep Canyon Rangers and Seth Kauffman of Floating Action, alongside Matthew Smith.

Graham Sharp is a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning Steep Canyon Rangers, bringing his distinctive banjo playing, songwriting, and Appalachian-rooted musicianship to the stage. Seth Kauffman, the creative force behind Floating Action, is known for his inventive approach to songwriting, recording, and multi-instrumental performance. Together with Matthew, the evening brings three accomplished musicians with deep roots in the Western North Carolina music scene into an intimate setting for an evening of music, stories, and collaboration.
