Following on from the sell out success of Civilised Sundays at Jikoni in Marylebone we are presenting Well Crafted Women, our new intimate event series hosted at Café Jikoni at the V&A East Museum, celebrating brilliant women at the top of their craft.

Bringing together voices from food, art, design, fashion and culture, each conversation offers a rare insight into the creative practices, inspirations and philosophies that shape their work. 

For Episode 3 of Well Crafted Women, Café Jikoni at the V&A East Museum brings together two absolute powerhouses: the multi-Emmy Award-winning actress and writer Dame Meera Syal, and acclaimed journalist and broadcaster Mishal Husain.

Dame Meera Syal, one of Britain’s most beloved comedy legends, joins us to share the hilarious and heartwarming true stories that have shaped her remarkable life and work. We will also be discussing her fantastic new memoir, Vigilauntie: A Memoir - Innit?. Guiding the evening's conversation is the brilliant Mishal Husain—acclaimed British journalist, author, and host of The Mishal Husain Show podcast from Bloomberg Weekend.
